The cotton is garment-dyed so it came out of the package feeling broken-in, not stiff like most new covers. I washed it once and it didn’t lose any of that softness, which honestly surprised me. It’s a lightweight layer that makes the bed look intentional without adding bulk.

The ribbed texture adds just enough visual interest without being fussy, and the 100% cotton feels breathable and crisp against my neck when I read in bed. It’s become my favorite layer for the foot of the bed—lightweight but gives the whole setup a finished look.

The garment-dyed cotton is what sold me—it’s soft right out of the package, no breaking-in needed. I’ve got it propped against the headboard and it’s the perfect light layer that doesn’t trap heat.
